The Royal Scot Trust aims to preserve and maintain steam locomotives – entertaining and educating people about these historic machines, their operation and their preservation.

Several of the locomotives in The One:One Collection have been restored by The Royal Scot Trust, enabling them to return to the mainline on heritage tours run by companies like Icons of Steam.
